Why Federal Courts are Doing Better than Elected Branches of Government?
Individual rights and freedoms are essential for the growth of the country.
Individual rights are the rights that individuals need to successfully lead their lives and pursue their goals free from interference by the government or other individuals.
These are essential rights, and it is necessary that they have statutory protections as any other rights.
For instance, there are rights that protect speech use, such as mentioning individual freedom of speech.
Protecting these rights comes from two distinct branches, the federal courts and the citizen-elected branches of government.
Considerably, the federal courts can be accounted as more fulfilling in the protection of individual rights and freedom than the elected members. This may beg the question, how?

The elected branches of the government are given the responsibility of protecting the interest of the citizens.
They have the mandate of generating and passing bills that conform to the needs of the citizens. However, the ability of the elected members is limited by different jurisdictions and often does not involve single cases.
Moreover, the elected members’ protection of individual rights works through different branches, where they are debated before stands are generated (Lugaz, 2020).
This is different from how the courts operate in individual freedom and rights protection.
On the other hand, the courts are attributed to swift actions based on constitutional requirements.
In disputes, the courts are allowed the ability to generate new regulations.
The courts also attribute a fast reach to the citizens, and often, the citizens get their cases heard better at the courts.
The elected members enact new bills and are expected to protect the citizens’ interests.
However, they are limited by the requirements of the constitutions in passing and enacting laws. On the other hand, individual rights and freedoms are very fragile and need swift and precise processes.
The courts meet this goal effectively. The courts have very straightforward statements and are evidently within a better reach of the citizens.
This increases their ability to better establish and protect individual rights and freedom.
