Why Education is Important (Essay Sample)

Introduction

Education refers to the commitment and determination of the older generation to pass knowledge and useful information to the younger generation.

Education is also an essential medium for accessing crucial knowledge and skills.

In the current world, education is a requirement for one to boost the ability and expertise of handling day-to-day problems.

Being educated leads to so many opportunities which may eventually lead to a successful life.

Education plays a crucial role in equipping a person with relevant skills.

Most of the norms, values, rules, and regulations of society are learned through the passing of information and not inheriting.

Many lives receive change after useful skills are passed to individuals, thus improving their intelligence level.

Besides, education enhances a strong foundation for growth and development in the future.

A literate person is able or instead has the technical know-how of approaching certain challenging aspects of life (Janks, 2014).

On the other hand, the illiterate find it very hard to cope with hard life situations.

Also, due to the diversity of the current education, the progress of different societies and families is improved since the members eventually get equipped with the reasoning ability.

People get trained to gain knowledge on how to manage resources and time.

Therefore, education content is very relevant to the job industry. “The production and supply of services and goods highly depend on the expertise of the employees” (Quinn & Rubb, 2005).

Well-trained employees record high performance, thus achieving the organization’s objectives.

Conclusion

Education offers the ability to make life choices thus playing a critical part in a person’s life.

Moreover, training may be perceived as an investment since it leads to opportunities for better business ideas and also employment opportunities.
